Mother Parkers is a strong supporter of Coffee Kids, an international, nonprofit organization that works with coffee farmers and their families in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Peru to create alternative income projects that alleviate their dependency on coffee.

Grounds for Health
Mother Parkers ensures that approximately 1,000 women are screened annually for cervical cancer in coffee growing communities in Mexico and Central America by supporting Grounds for Health.
The goal of this international, nonprofit organization is to create sustainable and effective cancer prevention programs with a primary focus on the early detection and treatment of cervical cancer, a leading cause of death among women who lack access to healthcare.

Fair Trade Coffee
Mother Parkers is one of the largest importers of Fair Trade coffee beans in North America. Fair Trade certification helps ensure that small producers and workers in developing countries receive fair prices for their coffee so that they can improve their living conditions. Producers are encouraged to grow organic
coffee using environmentally sustainable methods.

Ethical Tea Partnership
Mother Parkers is proud to be a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a nonprofit organization that monitors worker welfare on tea estates. It ensures that tea estates comply with local laws for employment, education, maternity, housing, and health and safety and provides assurance that teas have been produced in a socially responsible way.

International Women’s Coffee Alliance
The International Women’s Coffee Alliance was
established in 2003 to empower women in coffee producing countries to become successful
entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities.
Mother Parkers proudly supports them in their mission to connect women working in North America’s coffee industry with women coffee producers in Latin America. |
